I can’t say enough positive things about my experience at Acupuncture Works. Doctor Leslie listened to my concerns and addressed them with the utmost compassion and empathy. Before visiting Acupuncture Works, I had been dealing with menopausal symptoms for over ten years. Traditional medicine basically offers one approach to treat the associated symptoms. This treatment plan consists of hormone therapy which can be detrimental to other areas of a woman’s health. This treatment did help relieve my symptoms during the time I was using it. After I made the decision to stop taking it due to concerns about the side effects it can cause, my symptoms returned. I was under the impression that the symptoms would naturally dissipate after a certain number of years. Needless to say they did not in my case. Within just a few days I noticed a significant decrease in my symptoms. I have been taking them for a few months and my symptoms have decreased to the point where I actually feel human again. I am now able to sleep through the night without experiencing night sweats and the daytime hot flashes can once again be blamed on the weather. My family even thinks I’m pleasant to be around once again. The best part is, when I’m finished with my course of herbal pharmaceuticals, the symptoms are promised not to return. I would highly recommend Doctor Leslie and Acupuncture Works to anyone with women’s health concerns.
